Introducing: Activity Log

Reporter updates, social media feeds, videos, reader comments, mp3s, photos: A lot goes into the typical liveblog. Once you start ramping up your liveblog coverage, how’s an editor to keep track of it all?

Rock Content now includes an activity log, so you can keep track of all your liveblog activity — and that of other reporters and editors at your organization. Updates include launching or closing events, setting up Twitter feeds, modifying templates, connecting events to a white label, etc. Each update is accompanied by the user’s avatar, the time of the change and a link directly to the event that has been modified. The activity logs are available at the bottom of the dashboard page, and from within an event via “reporting” from the left-hand menu. Best of all: The activity log lets you trace the origin of any errors and fix them before anyone else catches on.
