The Challenge

Autodesk was presented with the immense task of delivering a cohesive resource document to be used globally. The challenge was creating a revised edition of an internal playbook for their marketing team. The playbook included five categories and a large dispersed team to manage each of those categories. Autodesk needed a solution like Visually to help with the heavy lifting of quickly scaling their content production to complete the playbook in a timely manner.

The Strategy

The Autodesk internal marketing team realized they needed an intuitive guide for daily processes and to help new employees get accumulated. For the first version of their internal marketing playbook, the team was responsible for gathering and creating the content for each category from scratch. Autodesk wanted an easier, more efficient way to add new information to the existing playbook that would save time and help them realign their focus on other essential priorities.

The Results

The Autodesk team was impressed with the final results of the playbook. In the beginning, the team was overwhelmed by the amount of information that needed to be added. They were unsure about the best way to reconstruct the new marketing playbook. Autodesk relied on Rock Content to create a template as a guide to help give the playbook new life.

Within the Content Creation marketplace, Autodesk was able to find freelancers who helped provide examples with charts and other visually appealing elements for the team to design the look and feel of the document. Once the team presented their masterpiece to company leaders, it was no secret that they couldn’t have done it without Rock Content.
